Animated Ozone Concentrations

Latest animations of the ozone concentrations in Texas metro areas. Constructed from data measured at the TCEQ's continuous air monitoring stations, and data from local governments and private monitoring networks.

Due to technical issues, current ozone concentration animations are unavailable at this time.  Please try again later.

Animations of the ozone concentrations measured in the Dallas-Fort Worth (TCEQ Region 4), Beaumont-Port Arthur (TCEQ Region 10), Houston-Galveston-Brazoria (TCEQ Region 12), and San Antonio (TCEQ Region 13) areas are available by clicking on the particular region below. These animated images are constructed from data measured at the TCEQ's continuous air monitoring stations and includes data from local governments and private monitoring networks. The concentrations are calculated using a statistical algorithm and are based on a running one-hour average, with six concentration values being calculated each hour (one every 10 minutes).

The animations are created with the most current data available. The TCEQ has not verified this data and it may change. This is the most current data, but it is not official until it has been certified by our technical staff.
