Municipal Solid Waste Applications Posted on the Internet

Introduction

Municipal solid waste facility owners and operators have posted copies of applications that are pending before the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) on publicly accessible websites, as required by rule. The TCEQ in turn posts the links to the applications on the TCEQ website. In the following tables, links to applications on applicants' websites are provided in the column labeled "Application."  The columns labeled "Facility Information" and "MSW No. and Related Information" provide links to information in TCEQ databases, using the TCEQ Central Registry Query tool.

Requirements for Posting on the Internet

Municipal solid waste rules require municipal solid waste facility owners or operators to post on a publicly accessible Web site a complete copy of any application that requires public notice. The requirement does not apply to applications regarding Type IAE and Type IVAE landfill facilities.

For the related rules, see Title 30 Texas Administrative Code (30 TAC), Chapter 330, Section (§) 330.57, Subsection (i). Type IAE and Type IVAE facilities are described in 30 TAC §330.5, Subsections (a) and (b).
